Dr. Kurt Nelson

Kurt Nelson founded The Lantern Group, Inc. in 1997 with the intent of igniting brilliance in managers and employees.  Kurt has also done significant research and work in the area of employee motivation and personality.  
 
A frequent speaker at conferences as well as corporate events, over 150,000 people have participated in programs that Kurt has designed.  
 
His recent work has focused in on helping fortune 500 companies increase the motivational level and subsequent performance of their employees through the utilization of motivational theory and incentives. 
  
Kurt earned his MBA from the University of Iowa and his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Capella University.  He is Vice Chair of the board for the Economic Growth Center as well as on the board of the City of Lakes Rotary Club.
